Massimiliano Allegri seems to be relaxed about the possibility of losing midfielder Paul Pogba whose signature is much sought for by major European clubs. The French international has been rated as the best midfielders of his era with a price tag of £100.
As the rumours linking the 23 year old to a Manchester United move intensify, Juventus manager Allegri says that he's calm but advises Pogba to look at afew things before thinking of leaving Juventus, a club among the top 4 Europeans elites according to Allegri.
“I am calm about the English rumours,” said Allegri. “Anyone who has the opportunity to leave Juventus has to consider things very carefully, because right now Juve are among the top four European clubs.
“This is not a selling club that just lets its players go.
"Pogba belongs to Juve and at the end of the day he too will want to win another Scudetto and hopefully the Champions League.” said Allegri.
Manchester United's missing link is now said to be in midfield and defense, Jose Mourinho has is keen of bridging the gap with Pogba having signed Zlatan for the striking role.
Former Manchester United defender, Rio Ferdinand says Pogba would be the ideal player in midfield but he thinks that he is over priced.
“Manchester United have a strong attack. It’s the midfield and the defence that needs strengthening.
“I think £100m is a lot of money, for any player. You’d expect 40-plus goals per season for that figure.
“But Pogba is going to be the best midfielder in the world in the next couple of years. He is a leader, who will grow into an even better leader.” said Ferdinand.
