When someone mention poland I think most of us get assotiation Lewandowski but Poland national team is much more then just Lewandowski. They have solid goalkeepers with Wojciech Szczesny from Juve and experienced Lukasz Fabianski from Swansea.
Main man in defence is Kamil Glik from Monaco. In defence they also have talanted Jan Bednarek from Southampton who did not play a lot until now, Piszczek from Dortmun in right back position and experienced Michal Pazdan from Legia.
I would rate their midfield as little bit better then defence and keeper positionw with great Piotr Zielinski from Napoli and Grzegorz Krychowiak from West Brom. In midfield they also have talanted duo of Karol Linetty from Sampdoria and Bartosz Kapustka from Freiburg.
In attack main star is no doubt Lewandowski. We know everyhing about him. If Poland play good he could be one of tops scorers on World Cup. But he is not alone as there are also great Arkadiusz Milik from Napoli, Lukasz Teodorczyk from Anderlecht and great talent Dawid Kownacki from Sampdoria.
We can see Poland keeper position and defence are ok but their midfield and attack are above average and if they organize well they can show some good football.
Nigeria once was team that everyone was afraid of as they play great phisical and full of tempo football but in recen years they are not on same level any more. Still this year they have really solid team with some great talents if they will play as team they can achive something.
On goal they have experienced 35yo Vincent Enyeama who has already over 100 caps. Replacement keepers are Daniel Akpeyi playing for Chippa and Carl Ikeme playing for Wolwerhampton.
Like on goal they also have problems in defence. Best player is Chidozie Awaziem from Nantes his teammates in defence are players like Leon Balogun that plays for Mainz or Kenneth Omeruo that plays for Kasimpasa. So they play in Europe but not for best teams.
Midfield is much better with Leicester Wilfred Ndidi and Chelsea Victor Moses being main stars. But there are also experienced John Mikel Obi and Ogenyi Onazi from Trabzospor and talanted Uche Agbo from Standard.
In attack they have even better choice. Central forwards Ahmed Musa from CSKA, Kelechi Iheanacho from Leicester, Odion Ighalo playing in China and Brown Ideye from Malaga are all great goal scorers. On wings they also have great players like Arsenal talent Alex Iwobi or Moses Simon from Gent.
With Nigeria questons are two first is how good they can defend as they lack quality in defence and on goal and second is will they play like team or everyone will look for better team for himself. Result depends of this.
Both teams has great options in attack and little bit limited options in defence and this could really easy lead toward game with many goals. I will go after over 2.5 goals.
