Switzerland and Poland are equal teams. They are not in rang of top 5 european teams but just under and this means in good day they are capable to beat even top european teams. This time they will meet eachother in 1/8 finals of EURO and one team will achive big hit with qualifying to 1/4 finals.
So to check Switzerland lineup. In goal they have experienced Yann Sommer. In defence biggest stars are left beck Wolfsburg Ricardo Rodríguez and captain on right beck Stephan Lichtsteiner. In central defence position they have german bundesliga trio of Elvadi, Schar and Djourou. In midfield main man is Monchengladbach Granit Xhaka and in defensive part he will hve great support from Valon Behrami. In attack they have lot of options. Most dangerous will be only 19 year old Basel striker Breel Embolo. He will have suport from wingers Xherdan Shaqiri from stoke and Mehmedi from Leverkusen.
Poland team is mixture of solid players and some big stars. Best players is no doubt Bayern Munchen striker Robert Lewandowski. On goal they have second star Roma goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny. In defence best players are Torino defender Kamil Glik and Dortmund right beck Piszczek. As link between defence and midfield thay have their third big star in team and this is Sevilla midfilder Grzegorz Krychowiak. In midfield he will have good support in talented Empoli midfilder Piotr Zielinski. On winger position they also have solid option in experienced Fiorentina winger Blaszczykowski. So all in all Poland is solid team but they do not have enought good options to fight for top places.
But in end when I analize both teams performance this EURO I have feeling that Switzerladn still did not show all and they have some reserve and I think they are in position to eliminate Poland from this competition.
